So... Anyone know if editing reg files and running multiple game clients on the same IP (same comp) is against Anet's ToS?
Wouldn't wanna get a perma ban... but... would like to be able to mule with ease ... yannow?

ANet and NCSoft have never taken action against accounts to my knowledge based solely on running 2 or more clients on the same computer, but they do not provide any support should you choose to do so. A number of people, myself included, have emailed NCSoft support with inquiries on this subject. Feel free to do the same.

many many ppl have multiple accounts on the same computer and it works just fine - Anet isn't going to stop you from buying and playing multiple accounts, I know ppl with 10+ for what it's worth. XD

thanks lads... all I needed to know... I have 2 PCs running on a dual monitor stand... which is ok for a mule here and there .... but when it comes to major inter-account trafficking, this will be a touch easier...

It's sort of a gray area. They refuse outright to say yes, it's okay to use any 3rd party program or modify the registry and hex edit, etc.
I have read reports of people claiming they have been banned for "botting" when all they did was use the GW2X or GWML programs to run multiple instances. But I suspect in those cases there may have been more to it that they didn't mention.
I have multiple accounts and use GWML (Guild Wars Multi Launch) but mostly only for transferring items between accounts, and for a "gate monkey" in Pre-Searing.

you will NOT get banned for running 2 accounts on one ip. you WILL get banned if you do something against the eula i believe its called. my friend got banned for using 2 accounts to trade in kamadan so i wouldnt do that lol

There is no way on ANet's end for them to tell the difference between 2 clients (accounts) running on one computer and 2 separate computers running through the same router. In both cases the clients appear to have the same IP. The way in which people get into trouble is by doing something with the two accounts that appears to be botting or gold selling or some other action that is against the EULA.
