I recently bought a tormented spear for 40e. At the time, armbraces had just started to jump up to 50e as common asking price.
Like most tormented weapons, it's a question of folks that have uncust. ones hooking up with folks that want them. If someone's in a rush to get one, they just get an armbrace. Lately I notice a fair number of people wanting to buy/sell the str shields, swords and daggers. Other types of tormented gear can be hard to find sellers when you're looking and hard to find buyers when you're selling ... or you can just luck out and stumble into each other on the first try!
