Hi, I have been having this problem for a while. Whenever I view content that requires Adobe Flash Player (Youtube videos for example) the video and the audio randomly freezes and continues a few seconds later. It is not a buffering problem.

Youtube videos don't freeze like they are buffering. The video stops where it is, and the audio sounds like it is skipping. The content continues where it left off when it froze.

Here are my system specs

Processor: AMD Athlon 64x2 6400+ Black Edition (3375 MHz)
Mainboard: ASUS Crosshair AM2
Memory: 4x1GB Kingston HyperX DDR2 800MHZ
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4870
PSU: Antec Earthwatts 650W
Sound Card: ASUS HD Audio

This occurs in every internet browser (IE, FF, Chrome) and I cannot seem to find the solution.

WHAT I HAVE TRIED
  • Reseating sound card
  • Reinstalling Shockwave Player
  • Reinstalling Adobe Flash Player and trying older versions
  • Updating Java
  • Tried the debugging versions of Adobe Flash Player

WHAT I CAN CONFIRM THE PROBLEM NOT IS
  • Lack of physical or virtual memory
  • Processor
  • Buffering

Thanks!
