See, to keep people interested you need to have a goal.
Remove the title, what's the goal of SD?
I believe it'll be nothing that you can measure.
It would be so simple to keep people playing over and over and really interested.
_GIVE REWARDS_
What if they told you, for a 25 win streak (which takes much much longer and happens less frequently than HA runs) you get sent to open the Chest of Honor?
Or let's say they make that every 10 or 15 win streak?
Wouldn't that spark some interest in the format?
What if they put in global announcements, like: "W, X, Y, and Z have won a battle in the Codex Arena/Tournament"
That would spark some interest similar to what HA has now without modifying the current state of CA/SD.
Think what would happen to HA without the title.
What would happen if you leave the title but remove the rewards?
What would happen if you remove the /rank emote?
I hope you see my point.
IMO, put in a new emote. Remove the 1 pt each 5 wins (but of course adjust track accordingly), give rewards (an anything can drop chest?) after X qty of battles. This would keep it going on for much longer and keep people interested in it more than anything else they do to the format.
The format is *good* or *acceptable* or just *fun* but it needs rewards other than just a title or just fun.
