is it even possible to do a UWSC run at all?
people are saying it is but have no other input besides the common "pugs fail if your in a good team/guild you can do it but takes longer etc etc"
any comments from any of those good SC guilds about these changes?

I don't like how in the process of nerfing UWSC they made it like twice as hard for balanced, yet people still somehow manage to do it. When will they learn its not UW that needs a change, its SF.

I'm glad they decided to nerf the uw itself rather than take the easy way and destroy shadow form. However I still think how they went about it is........ questionable.

Uw isnt nerfed at all - they've already managed it. My bet for new sc would be with at least 1 perma ase, a spirit spammer and a 600/smite. Dunno about others ^_^

Thats the same BS some ppl said with UB nerf and no , it didnt happen. There will be a lot of QQ bla bla , trolling and ppl will move on . Some to the next overpowered farming tactic and others to another stuff , thats it.

It's very likely all nerf to SF will come in the form of a buff to the enemies or new enemies added. Who's to say that the Skeleton should roam the UW only???? -_- No one actually quit the game because Ursan was nerfed, they just cried and claimed the game was impossible without it.

they are so timorous about loosing players with SF fix that they don't see they gonna loose more players in long term because they fail at their promice of trying to balance skills.

But I don't think Anet is willing to admit it. ANet has demonstrated again and again that it is their intention to keep SF maintainable.

It has been possible to keep it up 100% ever since nightfall came out, though at first only A/Me could do so. And, by the way, I don't think it was really overpowered until EoTN came out with the ability to add the huge damage dealing elemental and PvE skills. The old A/Me build forced you to relay on dagger skills which limited what you could do while maintaining SF.

That has been 3 years now. They have nerfed it several times without removing the ability to maintain it. They said they were going to look at it before the end of the year and in the addition of skeletons to the UW they have shown us how they decided to deal with it - by reworking the UW instead of the skill.

After that much time I think we might as well face the fact that ANet wants SF to be 100% maintainable.

I don't really like it but it's what we have to live with.

Look at DoA and Olafstead....not as full as it used to be anymore. I remember seeing 2-3 districts in DoA on weekends. Now, I almost always zone into Dist 1 unless there's a Z mission there. You speak of "ANET" like you know what they know and what are they going to do and when someone does the same you doubt he/she knows. Monitoring doesnt matter , numbers of players in DoA or Olafstead =\= active players.

The thing is that real active players wont leave if they nerf SF and thats a fact , the ppl who would are not "real" active players imho and if they leave we are better off without em.

What you seem to forget is that UW number of real players ( non SC farmers ) will be the same if they nerf SF and will fall down dramaticaly if you keep "nerfing" UW and making it more diff. If you do so , you piss off ALL UW PLAYERS , not only SC'ers or SF users. This stupid race of UW vs SC'ers must end and if they make UW harder .... they will be making a big big mistake , much more bigger than nerfing SF .That is pretty obvious and im pretty sure they know it ( even if you say once again "No one really knows except ANET" bla bla ).

UWSC is not completly nerfed, its just a bit more difficult.

which makes all the noob players QQ, because there is some obstacle they can't handle.

and since UWSC is a team effort, most likely pugs will fail. (even more than before)

SF is easily the most broken thing in GW, if they are scared to address that then they are more stupid than I can possibly comprehend.

If they want to turn players off of GW2 then they are going the right way about it.
