I have had this problem since last week, if I start GW and try to log in it will give me all kind of network errors (and the announcement box won't load).
If I temporarily disable NOD32, it's all good and I can play, but offcourse; that's not really safe.
Does anyone know the fix for this?
Thank you.
NOD32 doesn't accept GW

I run ESS v4 on an XP laptop and Vista desktop and have no problems with GW. Change your firewall setting to Interactive and allow GW. Then you can change back.

try adding gw.exe in C:/program files/guild wars to nod32's list of exceptions. i don't have nod32 anymore so that's just from memory :P

I can't find anything that resembles exceptions, can you tell me where to find it?

I use NOD32 Anti virus and I can run GW with it enabled. You need to enable the file as Safe before running Guild Wars.
