Raptor Farming - Can't kill boss

I recently started Raptor farming with my W/N as it seems to be a quick way of getting drops(especially during festivals). I don't have a problem killing all the raptors, it's just the boss that I can't kill. It will have such little health, but it won't die, resulting in it kiling me before I can get all the drops.

My build is the one found here. It says that it should kill the boss, but it doesn't. I've got the weapons and armor upgrades stated on the page. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem long long time ago :P
What worked for me was going from a major sword rune to a superior one, was just enough extra damage to get it done.
If that doesn't work, make sure you agro the whole cave to get maximum damage from MoP.

Same as "matthijs123" said could be the problem, or that if you dnot attack the Raptor u casted MoP on. If u cast MoP on Raptor then u switch target u will not kill em all.

Yes I have the same problem. W/N is very fast but very unreliable killing the boss. Make sure to gather all the raptors in the cave(as many as you can), then make sure the one you casted MoP on is adjacent to Broodmother.

I use perma for raptors... takes about 90 seconds for full run.

Should be all fine when he follows our tips on his W/N, and W/N is like 50 secs work so it's worth it to give our hints a try.

Uhm... I have full Knights with a Major Swordsmanship and I NEVER have a problem killing the boss. I don't know why you are incapableof doing it. :\


Also, the runs take roughly 40 seconds asuming you have a para hero with you.

I think I got it. I managed to kill him once so far. I think it's just a matter of finding that sweet spot in the cave so they're all adjacent to each other. Gonna take a few runs to find it :P

^^ thats about it. Also keep them close and make sure you got as many (if not all) the raptors in the cave.

Meh, E/Me, run in aggro all, target boss, boss + raptor die

Run takes about 45 seconds.

My problem is LAG

I had this problem some time ago, and i figured out some stuff to guarantee a successful run each time.

1) Gather 33+ Raptors

2) Make sure your curses and swordsmanship are above 12

3) This is the grouping part; to guarantee adjacent to the boss, I will gather all the raptors on the end of the cave and then bring them all to where the big rock is (next to boss) Look at your minimap and tap the one raptor that will aggro all the raptors on the boss side of the cave, your screen should say "Defeat Rekoff Broodmother!" This is the most important part, run left (assuming your facing the boss side) and wall hug till you hit the corner, stop and let your magic happen.

This way guarantees adjacent to the boss. Just make sure your hero has enough seconds on the make haste to allow time for this.

If you gather 33+ mobs from this cave and stay near left wall mobs will be closer and easier to kill. Superior Swordsmanship rune is quite bad choice. Why? You have less hp and less time to put aggro in right place.
