help with gw clientel

i have downloaded the gw clientel on to my laptop.. i can achieve the login screen... and i have to download the maps and everything else back.. but i need to figure out how to download every update ...

Updates are downloaded automatically if you (re)start GW when they are available. If there is an update and you haven't downloaded it yet, GW will bug you with a message: "A new build is available, please restart guild wars to download it" or something along those lines. You don't need to do anything special to download updates.

i think theirs a shortcut you can use by going to the properties of the gw shortcut and placing something in the target.. text.. but i dont remember what it was..

While looking at the properties for your guildwars shortcut, put " marks around what's in the target field if they are not already there. Then, put a space and -image after the "". Once everything's loaded, open the shortcut properties and remove the -image to start playing the game again.

Once all that is done, you've got a fully loaded .dat file so you won't have to load every new map you step foot on, which is bloody awesome.
