A hardcore gw necromancer has come one last time to share his idea on the necromancer, comes at the news that the necromancer maybe removed from gw2. So here is the suggestion.
Basically Each race should have a minion class, but make it completely different depending on the race.
In the case of asura, they should contruct golems rather than summoning anything.
In the case of char they should have beast masters as they are esentially beasts themselves, only capable of having more than one beast at a time.
In the case of sylvari they should have ritualists, as the affinity to a positve form of the dead kinda suits em.
In the case of humans they should have necromancers, as that type of art is always associated with humans and human zombies.
The way the necromancer could work, is that they could maybe have to collect bones to summon the dead, and then be able to use so many to summon certain zombie. Also they could make it that a necromancer can store undead in a vault or tomb underground, or possibly even a different dimension for later. Also as a necromancer they could maybe control minions in total up to double their level, and maybe create undead dragons like rotscale.
In the case of norn you could have phantom or wisp summoners, or even summon stuff from the underworld and grenths domain...
Also whether a race uses guns or bows for range combat could depend on the race, some could even use spears.
Like maybe humans or asura using guns, char spears or axes, sylvari bows, norns throwing hammers? Or just split it human and asura guns, the rest bows?
