Hey guys, I just now got around to being interested in picking up some of the Ebon Vanguard PvE skills but...uh, yeah. I'm trying to do the quest "Falling Out" that gives the Sniper Support and blah blah. I can't really find the corpse that gives the quest and I'm not sure if I screwed myself over a long time ago. x_O

Wiki says that you should listen to the NPC discussion outside Longeye's when it happens, because it happens only ONCE. And then the wiki goes on to make it sound like if you missed the dialog, you can't get the quest. Well, this is my main character and I played around in EotN as soon as it came out. <.< So I can't remember if I just heard the dialog and then booked it or if I ignored it completely and went on with my merry business because I probably triggered it years ago.

Anyway.

Am I doomed to never be able to do this quest? Or am I just missing something?

go there, try to rezone a couple of times through the southern portal if he's not there. if you haven't got it active and you haven't done it yet, he should still be there.

Hmm. Apparently you need Rebel Yell (the Vanguard title track ability) active when you enter the Wardowns from Longeye's Ledge to get the squad (and conversation) to appear. Might want to try that (make sure you activate it while still inside the outpost - obviously they won't appear if you turn on the title while already in the Wardowns).
