The reason her perspective looks different is because she bends her body to throw the spear (at least I tried :P)
I agree on the background, maybe I'll do it later, also was thinking adding a pet, but might do some other works first.
Spoon Legs, I'll keep you in mind, a monk seems hard to me as it needs to be a little bit cute, but that's a challenge ^^
