When does ANet account for the time change?

I barely finished a mission in time to free up a zmission slot for Tihark Orchard, but apparently ANet forgot about the time change and reset the zmissions at 8am PST instead of 9am. Just wondering what their track record is... how many days can we expect things to be off by an hour?

maybe they're using GMT or another fixed time, ignoring all daylight savings bullshit.

No, they use Daylight Savings Time. There was even an explanation that the Mad King appearances would begin at midnight PDT.

Why their system didn't automatically update for the time change, who knows. Perhaps it needs to be done manually.

Anet never seems to get times correct on website - for 2 yrs + they`ve always said on login +8 gmt regardless of daylight saving and that causes so many arguements with ppl asking if a events started .
Who`s to say when anets going to learn timezones - they can code a game but not get a timezone right lol

Which is why I still hope to this day a Server time buton ( like the ping one)
is added to the GW screen and you can just mouse over it and see
wherever you are on this planet or timezone.
I'm still a little confused as to when the Quests will be taken away 12 PDT as the event lists or now 11PST with the time changeover there from 1 November.
Did Anet factor the timechange in or not?
