Yea so basically 5mins ago I ran GW in full screen mode on two monitors... That is F* awesome!! The major disadvantage obviously is splitting your toon in half
Has anyone ran GW on 3 displays? How did you setup graphic card? Cards??

Like this
Using nVidia Control Panel
Sorry for the poor quality and mess

I'm usually having GW on one and second is running second account/wiki but having one client on both is WHOA...
Once I get bigger desk I'll get another 19" and try to run it on three. I was just wondering what the hardware setup might be. One card/two cards on SLI|Crossfire/two different cards.. I'll have to experiment a bit I guess. Thanks for the link SpiritSpammer it shed some light

the new ATI VGA cards support up to 6 screens.
my dad has a computer store, and i played GW on 6 screens, kinda funny.
to bad i dont have money left for such a card.
but with 4 of those cards in crossfire you can play GW on 24 screens.

soooo who is going to pay 800 dollars for 4 HD5870 cards and another 4800 dollars for 24 big screens.
if someone does that, i'l give him a cookie

You could also just output to a 42" LCD HDTV, be probably the same just without the breaks in the game window.

If you have two video cards that are not in SLI, you can do up to the maximum amount allowed by each card (I.E. I have 2x 8800GTs, with two DVI slots each, and I run 4 monitors) - I find that running guild wars on an even number of screens is kinda lame as it splits your character in half. I run it on 3 monitors whenever I feel like going overkill, but usually I have visual studio open on a vertical widescreen, guildwars/othergame on a horizontal widescreen, and firefox on a vertical widescreen. My fourth screen is used to play old games like baldur's gate that just look better on a 17" 4:3.

tl:dr
Yea, it's possible. I do it on occasion, but it cuts my FPS in half. You need a kick-ass machine to do it though.

the new 5800/5700 series from AMD/ATI can do 3 monitors on the driver level. there are also special variants that can output to 6.

Already tried that one few times but it's not very impressive

Also having those 6 screens on one flat wall is not the best idea (for me). The reason I want to try more screens is to make it panoramic so you feel like you are inside the game... well... almost

Nah, I don't have a SS for a few reasons:
A) I don't own a camera
B) The monitor setup for it is completely different then what I have now

If you really want panaramic, and don't mind the split screens, 2x 19" widescreens isn't actually *that* bad. Once you get used to the split character, of course. I do not recommend this for a first-person view, however. It makes me sick after about 20 minutes of play across two screens from motion sickness. And this is from the guy who rode all the rollercoasters at Cedar Point and didn't think they where fast enough.
