Commission - Open: GeminiJuSa Commissions

 For a limited time I am having a sale on traditional art commissions.The sale commissions are restricted art where I will draw freely and pick and choose like I was the biggest of divas with the intent of developing my style and skills.

Sale commission rules:Sale Commissions will mainly be in semi-realistic style. Sale Commissions may have altered armours. Sale Commissions will be made in whatever order I feel like. Sale commissions will alter 'tween being portraits, waist up and fullbody. Sale commissions will not be coloured, but may be later. Commissioner may have a .PSD with lineart in case commissioner wants to colour by itself. Male characters are encouraged.

I claim the right as the artist to use your commission however and wherever I
want. As long as you don't remove my signature you're free to use it as you
please, and you may edit and manipulate it as you want.

During the sale I do take normal commissions. I only keep 3 slots open

for the pose/situation: Ala's typical expressions feature curiosity, excitement, or mischief.
So let's show her
either - skulking about, trying not to be seen whilst she spies on someone offscreen
or - as if she's been discovered up to no good, and she knows she's been nawty~!
.. in darkness that is, maybe a brief streetscene, alleyway, rooftop, or darkened room.

or - her sweet/cute side showing her exuberance, as she dives into a meadow of flowers, sending insects and bits of foliage flying ~ or bursting through a snowdrift with water & snow spraying everywhere~!
Any angle is fine, something other than straight-on is generally more interesting.


doesn't hafta be her GW incarnation, that way you shalln't need to bother with all those hyper-detailed armours~!

*You can either draw Ala as she is in GW:


**or - in pixyform, which will be similar to her GW-doll, but with wings (either dragonfly wings, or dragonwings - like Kuuny's) and less clothes.


***or, Alacrity's earliest incarnation, a ferret-kemonomimi (this is the earliest version of Alacrity, from like ten years before GW).
Unfortunately there is only one single pic of her in this form (plus related wip's), partially cos there are no other references

Rikki did a fantastic job (using screenies like the above for reference), and will eventually be drawing a *lot* more of Ala like this.


Ala's GW incarnation and role as assassin is the closest she gets in GW to her original personas, which is basically a sneaky mischievous rogue/acrobat/martial artist with minor magical abilities.


pricing, mm .. shall we start at 50plat~?
Ala doesn't farm or powertrade, and gives most of her wealth away, but the handful of Nolani artists who've drawn her will tell you that she's generous.
I'd really love to ask a multipanel work from you but I doubt I could afford it ..

If you don't feel like drawing her, or this looks too complex, then don't~!
I'd only want an artist to draw Ala if they like her in the first place, and even if you don't draw her, your art still has Ala's stamp of approval :}

I think Alacrity sounds like a lovely project, and I'd love to try out some sketches on her, and then let you see what you think. She sounds verly lovely and I get several pictures in my head from your descriptions.

Here's a chibi of Blue XIV. Apparently it was "too good" to be in Verene's thread. People didn't seem to think Verene could do better - which I did - so I re-post my free-bee here. Verene doesn't get the cread she deserves.

Verene is a lovely artist and I think you should buy her art!

Gemini, the problem was that you took Verene's thread to be a "commonplace" thread, where people post their art.
You probably had the best intentions posting the chibi of Blue, but it was put in a very wrong place. It should have been here in your thread in the first place.
When an artist opens a commissions thread, only their own art should be displayed there, what they made for other people so far, WIPs, and such. Imagine if someone else posted their art in your commission thread. How would that feel, be honest?
Even if it wouldn't bother you much, it might bother other people or the artist him/herself.
I'm not speaking for Verene here, but just a little respect goes a long way.

Tell me, what are the ranges that people that have paid for your chibis?
