Computer specifications:
CPU make (Intel or AMD) and model and speed and how many cores?
What operating system? (Which version of Windows and if it's 32-bit or 64-bit.)
How much system memory?
Make and model of your graphics card and how much memory it has?
In order to find your system specifications, you can right click on "My Computer" on your desktop (or "Computer" if you're running Windows Vista or Windows 7) and click on "Properties". Somewhere on there, it should show you what version of Windows you are using (for example, I am running Windows 7 Ultimate). It should also show what processor you're running (for example, I have an Intel Core2 Duo E8400 CPU @ 3.00GHz). Next, it tells you how much installed memory (or RAM) you have (I have 8.00 GB). Finally, it may say what system type you have (I have a 64-bit Operating System).
For your graphics, the best way to find this information is to utilize the DirectX diagnostic tool that is installed on your computer. Click "Start" then "Run" (or if you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, you may not have the "Run" command; if that's the case, just move onto the next step). Type in "dxdiag.exe" (with or without the quotes, it doesn't matter) and press your Enter key. The dialogue box that appears gives a little bit more information, such as the System Manufacturer and the System Model. Move to the "Display" tab at the top and click it. Here, you'll find information such as the Device Name (I have an ATI Radeon HD 4670), Manufacturer (obviously ATI), Chip Type (Again, ATI display adapter for me), DAC Type (I don't know what this is), Approx. Total Memory (I have 3571 MB (I actually have 512 MB dedicated; I don't know where the extra is coming from)), the Current Display Mode, and the Monitor. We'll need the "Name" and the "Approx. Total Memory".
As for the "temps", I'm assuming they mean "temperatures". This will help determine if your system is overheating or not, which can cause some problems.
Also, have you run a virus scan and a malware (spyware, adware, etc) scan?
