**Not sure if I am supposed to delete this once I join a guild or just edit it to say so but I have joined a guild. Thanks to those who PMed me.**
I'm a level 8.5 R/Me with a strong pet, currently in pre-searing and planning to leave soon. I am on my second build after accidentally taking my first build to post-searing after 2 days. I have been playing GW for almost 2 weeks now. I log in 4+ days a week. I would be willing to get into some sort of team communication set-up with my headphone/mic combo. I currently understand less that 1/2 the GW lingo and very little about all the upgrades, fancy weapons, runes, etc...I hear discussed. I hope to rectify that through interactions with more experienced players.
A few things I have figured out so far that may be relevant:
I like to fight through things and while I don't mind having a party of people to help me fight I don't want to be run through hard stuff so I can get honors, prizes or open areas that I don't deserve.
I am patient and willing to die (repeatedly if need be) on my way to beating a baddie.
I do not like to senselessly run into the same pack of bad guys after rezzing without trying to tweak strategy, initial targeting, position in the environment, etc.
I am very competitive and could see myself liking GvG or PvP in addition to
PvE (which I like a lot). So a guild that does competitive things in addition to PvE would probably be good. I have a lot to learn about the competitive side of GW.
I am not snobby but enjoy working hard for a bit of glory and wouldn't mind being in a guild that likes to distinguish itself.
I am loyal and would like a solid guild that I can be loyal to.
I am friendly and not too proud to take advice from more experienced players.
Please ask if you have any questions.
I don't know much about the two main guild factions and am not sure if that should play into my decision. I do prefer forests to the ocean though.
