Greetings! not sure if this is the right area for these, but I guess it's a technical support issue (kinda). I've been getting these weird e-mails for a while now, not sure on how to react to them...
I think the language is Taiwanese, as the link points to NCSoft Taiwan, but google translator doesn't want to work on Hotmail so no idea what it says. Should I just trash them even though the sender address "seems" legit, or where to contact if they continue to pour in my mailbox for long?
Cheers in advance

Try emailing that screen shot to tech support and asking them. If it is legit then they should be able to help. If not then you gave them a heads up on what may be a phishing site.

Trash it, it's phishing, also maybe fire an email to the real [email protected]

Just FYI...
Had this when my account was hacked a week ago. All kudos to the GW/Anet support team who helped me to resolve the problem.
And to the hacker.....so I lost about 400k and some ectos. Hope you had fun raptor farming

I moved this to Q&A for a better chance of it being spotted (that plus the fact that it's not a technical question per se.)
Maybe Riverside would've been even better...

I asked a Chinese speaker to translate. She said it's obviously phishing and says something to this effect:
Edit: One more thought: I've got some good news and some bad news for you.
The good news is that they probably won't get your account straight away because you weren't dumb enough (or Chinese-literate enough) to change your password for them.
The bad news is that you now know for a fact that account thieves know your login and may start brute forcing for your password. If I were you, I would do the following:

- If your account isn't linked to a NCSoft master account, CHANGE YOUR LOGIN IMMEDIATELY. Get a fresh gmail account that will never be used for actual e-mail (write down the password since you'll forget it if it's never used) and make it your new login.
- If your account IS linked to a NCSoft master account, then
- Get a hold of Gaile, Regina, Support and anyone else who will listen and RAISE HELL that NCSoft's incredibly retarded policy is preventing you from changing a login that is known to be compromised. Maybe if you're lucky they'll help you change it.
- Change your password frequently. Use the strongest passwords the NCSoft system allows (which sadly, is restricted from being full strength for no intelligent reason I can think of) and make large jumps around the namespace.

Ah, didn't have any friends who understood the language so thanks for taking the trouble, now I can trash the messages with good conscience :P Already changed my passwords on both NCsoft site and ingame, and the GW and NCsoft accounts were already on different login addresses so hopefully the situation won't develop further. Thanks again!
