Hey so I plan on going for the cartography title so I was looking at texmod. So I am wondering if it is safe to use and I won't get banned? I also scanned it using jotti scanner and these 3 came up so i am a bit worried. So is it safe to use?

Texmod is safe, legal and virus-free. Nothing to worry about.

Been using it for more then 2 and a half years. No bans, no hacks, no questions from anet. Anet can't do anythin about it and Texmod dosent really touch the gw process or the .dat at all so be care free and enjoy that cartography title with no worries.

Also check the texmod link Arduinna posted. And to settle your thoughts about the 3 antivirus stuff, it's because the program changes your own PC's DirectX layer and such to inject the ****temporary**** textures, no harm..just the way the program operates.

i used it for my las .05% canthan explorer, no ban. its a client side effect, not server(meaning only you can see it, like changing color of armors, changing textures, better "fog of war" on maps, blah blah ect.ect.)

1. Texmod won't get you banned. A-net has stated that, while they won't give you any tech support for it, they won't ban you either.

2. The legit texmod executable is virus-free. In fact, I personally submitted my binary to Avira when it showed as a false positive, they investigated it, and whitelisted it. Just make sure you download from a trustworthy source and check your CRC.
