What Class is your GWAMM?
DragonRogue
Spurred on by a previous thread, I asked myself... What class are the majority of GWAMMS? Are there certain classes that make it easier to obtain GWAMM? Either by being first pick to join a team above another class, by being easier to play with H/H, or just more effective in the majority of areas above other classes. Did you use the same build thru most of the areas or change it often, and what build did you use? Did you ever feel that your class was at a disadvantage to another to reach GWAMM?
My first GWAMM was an elem that ran a Mind Blast/ Glyph Sac Nuker build. I always found groups and it was a pretty easy build to H/H with.
2nd was a monk. Groups always took me if i was a healer and after ROJ/Cryer. I refused to run HB or UA healers and prefered to use a Word of Healing spike build that no one has ever complained about after letting me run what i wanted. However i found it easier to run ROJ/Cryer if i was H/Hing. Seemed that the H/H would target better than trying to let them do what they wanted while i healed them.

My GWAMM is my derv. The prevailing attitude is monks and melee classes are the most popular, but it should be a fairly even spread with the majority having GWAMM core classes.
I never really thought which class would be "easiest," just went and got it on the class i like and enjoy most, as I'm sure is the case with most people.
EDIT: No, after hearing HoM transfers by account, I declined a second GWAMM although it had been started...

I also got gwamm on my derv.
I liked running avatar of grenth for fun and I ran either that or wounding strike the majority of the time but I always experimented with builds.
I'd think it would be easiest to get it on monk if you're looking to get into pugs and such.
Really didn't have problems with any areas, although some of the titles were a little easier when a couple people were present instead of h/h the whole time.

Mesmers Are Bad
My first gwamm was my mesmer, however i got both of the faction titles from doing dtsc/mqsc so it was kind of a team thing. On the grind: it was hard to get groups as a mesmer so i did the majority of it H/H. As for the builds, I started with a fast cast curses SS build and switched to VoR when it got buffed. Sadly, by that time i had most of my missions done already so it really only helped for vanquishing and dungeons.
If i do go for a second gwamm it will probably be my assassin, not because of sf but because they're just plain fun.

My GWAMM is my Necromancer. Most of my vanquishing and H/Hing was done before the Ursan nerf so I was able to run UB constantly due to Soul Reaping (necros made great ursans back then!) Most other objectives were done either as SS or MM. I never had a problem finding a group because pretty much everything was done with guildies or good friends.
And gratz to the Dervish GWAMM. You don't see many of those.

Ya cause gwamm is so hard you have to stay shut-in and avoid friends/family right? no.
Anyways my gwamm is my warrior because when I first started playing (and figured out that C was closest enemy) it seemed rather easy.
My second is a monk, because monks are pro.

I am working on GWAMM with my ranger (have 21 maxed title atm). I use h/h most of the time (sabway or discord), except for the legendary guardian and the HM dungeons, what I did with a pug after the zaishen quests were added to the game. I usually play as an interrupter, and I haven't experienced any problems in groups. Gratz everyone who got GWAMM already and good luck to those who are working on it.

for a game that has been out for 4 years, GWAMM shouldnt be hard.
mine is on my ele anyways. just the first prof i played all the games through with, so just kept getting titles on him.

No GWAMM yet, but I'm working on with my ranger. Usually play with a guilde and heroes. My hereos: sabway(I just hate discord). Other 3 heroes depends of which area are we working on.
My build: Triple-pointblank-asura-glass-arrow(o_0 long name) or Scythe+pet and rarely Splinter-barrage
No plans for 2nd GWAMM.Maybe just a GWAMM spread on the other characters(1 char legendary guardian;1 char legendary vanquisher...etc.)

Kook~NBK~
My GWAMM is my Mesmer. I used a fairly basic Domination Magic skill bar with one slot open for a utility skill - Frozen Soil in the Desolation, extra interrupt for caster heavy places, cap signet for a distant boss (if I could swing it), etc. Most of the time I was running balanced H/H parties, but switched to a Sabway variant when that came out. I went with Guildies/Allies when tackling some of the more challenging (Eternal Grove HM, Joko's Domain) tasks, and did the occasional PUG if I felt the urge.
Now, I'm kinda working on it with my Dervish, and it's a much different experience! It seems like there's more build tweaking required when going out Vanquishing with my Dervish. (I may just say "pfft" on the Vanquishing and go for Treasure / Wisdom / Lucky / Unlucky titles instead )
Also, the degree of difficulty of some areas changes when switching from a Caster to a Melee (I'm talking about H/H here) - Alkalai pan with my Dervish was easy-peasy, but was a pain with my Mesmer (Just the mesmer boss with all the hex removal) - The kiting centaur healers (Monk boss group with his THREE protectors in Anvil Rock comes to mind) are push-overs with my Mesmer, but they kick my Dervish's butt - I'll figure it out, though.
I don't think that any profession is disadvantaged for GWAMM. It just takes knowing your profession very well and understanding the task before you, whether it be a mission, vanquish, or dungeon.

I got my GWAMM on warrior. I remember working my ass off to vanquish some areas, had to use Obsidian Flesh tank and block foes by corners and hero/ hench nukers to clear some areas, now it's just too easy..

No GWAMM here yet. I am working on my rit to get it, but I change char very often, almost all of my chars have a few maxed titles already.
On my rit I use spiritspamming with a modified sabway, and AP calling or SS spear with discord.
I agree with Kook that there is no that much difference between professions as to which one is easier to get GWAMM with. You have to know your profession very well, but I experinced that knowing the task ahead of you is even more important. Right now I am running my monk through Factions and most of the missions seem to be much easier than it seemed when I did them with my rit. Not because I am so ggod at monking, but mostly baceuse I know the missions well.

Monk because everyone loves monks. She's my only pve character too. Still not at GWAMM tough:those final titles are grindish to the extreme.
Master of Liquors
I think it's kind of funny when people say the game's been out for four years so it should be easy, even though some people have only been playing it for two years with the first six months not truly knowing and understanding what the hell was going on(me) Seriously though, it's obviously very attainable to most out there (even the "late" starters) but there are a few minor issues that can slow newer players down compared to players who started from day one.
For one, the players that utilized ursan to it's fullest were definitely smart IMO, since that made vanquishing/dungeons/elite areas/etc. a breeze in comparison to someone now who has to h/h a lot of these areas 90% of the time.
The drunk title *cringe* takes obviously a decent amount of time, as well as some dedicated non-playing time to achieve. You can of course drink while out playing but if you're a player who has to afk frequently, that can throw everything off if you're one who can't afford or doesn't strictly have three minute drinks.
All of the rep titles aren't too bad at all in the grand scheme of it if you just stick to it for the most part. But if you're a player going for the above title yet you're still needing a good bit of rep points/titles, then this is where the drinking for the title can be an issue to some IMO. I've played with some others in my years that will or have hindered HM dungeons/book filling because they've stopped to concentrate on drinking their next drink, or stopping to shuffle something in their inventory pertaining to their booze, thus causing either major issues with aggro, or an outright party wipe. Now that is annoying. So once again, that can possibly be an issue to some.
Other than those few issues and to actually answer question of the OP, my goal to reach GWAMM is with my elementalist

got masters on all the missions while mapping them and skill capping, did vanquished while skill capping and mapping, and did a lot of eotn stuff with the guild which made it relativley easy.
the SS and LB titles were also both done through vanquishes. i think i finished vanqing with 48k rep, so just had to do a few wurm runs.
honestly, if you just have a little motivation, GWAMM is not hard to get, although the drunk sweet tooth and party can be a pain. the actual game play titles are pretty easy. you just need to do it. i think i did maybe a mission or a vanquish every other night, and a few more on the weekend if i had time.

Warrior was first, then the casters Ele, necro etc...
Warrior was mostly pre Ursan (no triple necro) but I think the casters were far easier (or more accurately, quicker)... I prefer just to do it with heroes, but I imagine if you need to pug something, monk always gets a group.
With the current power of the spirit spammer, I'd think any one could go rit secondary and have an easy time of almost anything (except warriors and paragons, of course).
Currently working on monk and ranger.

27 titles done, with Kurzick almost completed and Drunkard half done. Party Animal is going to be rough, because of the amount of farming I need to do between holidays.

My first one was a Warrior and after that came the necro on which i found it much easier to do.
I think if you want to make a good judgement on which prof would be the easier to do it on you should disregard the first one you made due to the fact you are still messing with the game itself and to be honest really don't know shit from sheit yet.
At the moment i think a Rit would be an easy prof to do, i might give that a try after i get my girls back to normal.
My gwamms have been deleted by a "friendly" little hacker but i have made them again exactly the same and they will be gwamm's again.
And for the people out there stating they have a life and therefor cannot make a gwamm i can only say it's about focus, you can be on line for 3 hours and go dance in Shing Jea Monastery or do some missions towards a title.
It's not so much the amount of time but more what you do with it that gets you a gwamm.

Elementalist, my first and main char. Vanquishing mostly H/H, missions mostly guild.
Looking back on it, it was my way to learn every foe and every area and find out about the details in game mechanics. In terms of HM and advanced PvE play, I started as newb (one year in the game) and finished as a reasonably skilled player.
Now that I have played 6 other classes through all GW campaigns and always HM after the first walktrough, I consider Necromant as most easy class to achive GWAMM. It is the most powerful ranged class damage-wise, and ranged damage dealers are much easier to play with H/H than melee classes or ranged support classes. Most part of GWAMM you do alone, otherwise it takes ages because you wait for groups and find many bad players.

My GWAMM is Ranger.
Hats off to people who have attained this through a mix of GW game play.
Mostly achieved mine with H/H.
Guilds and Allience outings were mainly for fun. For when I could set aside time when rl was not on going to interrupt my gaming.
Joined faction farming guilds for Factions.
Sunspear, LB mainly in worms.
Paid once for a run Morah 2k i think.
Played her for 3 years.
Guilds leading you buy the nose through the game effectivly means you leeched the title. imo, not my idea of fun or satisfying.
Tactics: Hero pinning and pulling.
If chosen balanced H/H team failed would try Sab.
Some high end dungeons needed consumables.
Skills: BHA, Barrage, Poison, Splinter mix of interupts and GWEN skills.

I always go for GWAMM on all of my characters. I just like the challenge of not dying while playing through the entire game. That said, however, I don't have GWAMM on anyone as I tend to get bored with a profession and move on to another one.
Also, it seems that Rangers are the most popular for GWAMM.

my GWAMM is my Ranger, was easy to get into groups as an interupter, especially in EOTN charr areas and dungeons, my VQ'd was done mostly H/H or with guildies who needed the area. i am not currently working on another, but my necro has 21 titles atm [just from regular game play] , but no consumable titles. cheers.

Don't need a GWAMM.
I actually enjoy playing all classes, so I can get into ANY group, ANY time, ANY where, with ANY build.
Now, that's godly indeed! GWAMM, my ass.

Warrior. Started VQing with a DSlash bar but that become boring within 10 areas, after that I switched between ES, Evis, Cripslash. Pretty easy overall.
Now going for GWAMM on my monk, which I find a bit more challenging. H/H are idiots when it comes to picking targets, or even following calls, so it's hard to keep them alive while also making sure they actually kill stuff. Hard but fun.
