Acc suspension

Anyways my acc was suspended just earlier today for a unacceptable username. So been wondering if they can suspened more than one character at a time. I think I know what character they suspended but I wasnt on that chara for months when I got suspended. Which got me a bit worried about have 2 charas that need renaming. The chara that I was on when I got hit with the suspension is Axewielding Basterd, you guys think that name would qualify as unacceptable?

You have Bastard and Terd going on at the same time. it's an awesome name in the fashion on Inglorious Basterds, but unfortunately it's obvious why anet suspended u. sorry . whether or not they will chain ban u for other wrong names, i don't think they do a check of ur other chars. u will be able to check when ur unsuspended by seeing if u have to rename both chars.

I see the reason why ANET suspended you. Those names are offensive, which you should have seen when creating the username. There is really nothing you can do. Just wait it out, change it when you log back in, and problem solved. We cannot do anything about your suspension. Instead, contact Guild Wars Support for additional help.

If you have an offensive name, just never leave the GH or play in unpopulated districts.

How is this unacceptable? Quentin Tarantino made a movie called "Inglourious Basterds" and the public loves it. The name you made refers to your character and not anyone else. The fact that they banned you just proved that they can ban people for about anything. You should talk to support about this issue. It's probably pointless to discuss this issue with support since by the time you bring up the issue and get a response, your ban will already be lifted. Just wait it out.

anyways, that's pretty weak. What group would be offended.....children who were sired by conquering warriors in foreign lands who don't like the name?

You won't need to pay for a name change. Anet makes you change it when your suspension is over.

Reporting others has become a new past time for those bored with the game. They should make a title for it. Tattletail R12 and give an emote that says Please Kick Me!

Yes, there is a surprising amount of report abuse going on. I know people in HA who report for bad language pretty much everything, hoping they get someone on the opposite teams banned. It's pretty QQ.

Havin fun on my GW break though, I forgot what it felt like to be able to speak freely without a risk of a ban.

Thats sort of your own fault, you should have gone with a more name bearing a more ancient sound to give yourself a bit more credibility, maybe try Biggus Dickus or Incontinentia Buttocks for your next character.

In summary; someone SOMEWHERE will QQ over a name no matter how tame it is.
