Does Conjure increase Hundred Blades damage?
WhiteAsIce
See title.
If I have an elemental sword on a W/E with Hundred Blades and Conjure <element>, does Hundred Blades increase in damage too?

No.
Conjures will not add bonus damage to the packets dealt from Hundred Blades. Skills like Winnowing, Barbs, Mark of Pain, Ebon Battle Standard of Honor, and By Ural's Hammer will have varying effects on the damage from Hundred Blades.

Conjures only add to the the damage you deal when you attack. Your attack while under the effects of 100B will deal more damage, but the 100B damage itself has nothing to do with your weapon and the damage it deals.
Lux Aeterna
Conjure 100b is quite weak compared to other warrior builds.
Sword Hammer Axe
Man if it did would we warriors have the most awesome damage or what? Unfortunately it does not. The damage from 100b is always physical no matter your weapon. Not to mention conjures only count per individual attack and the damage from 100b counts as a skill effect.
Killamus
That used to be a common build because 100b's old effect was like using two Whirlwind attacks at once - It attacked all adjacent foes twice. However, since the effect was changed, this is no longer the case and using conjures with it isn't the best usage of attribute points.

Actually...
100b alone gives 2 damage packets on target. Say, you get damage numbers 25, 24 on target.
Now, wield a fiery dragon sword...turn on conjure flame and use 100b...
Only the target you are attacking will receive the extra damage from conjure. So, that target now receives 40 and 24 damage.
The extra 24 damage from 100b is a physical damage and therefore does not benefit from conjure.
So, using conjure for a puny extra 15 damage on single target is not worth it, and better spent elsewhere ---- use more strength for more AP.

Try reading the skill descriptions and you could learn lots and lots.
Konker2020
Conjure skills only add damage to elemental damage that corresponds to that specific Conjure. 100b deals slashing damage and as such is ruled out.

2 words - URSAN SCAN
Try that one out. oh and run NECRO.
W/N with War and use Ursan scan and weaken armor - cracked armor. MUWAHAHAHAHA
then try smashing them! you will do oodles of damage. Get a monk to slap on you -all attacks do HOLY damage (holy wrath?) - and you can kill stuff so fast..
Drunken Master in there for faster mashing stance
Ebon Assassin for extra fun

^ I resemble that remark
I love ursan scan for fast killing copled with weaken armor. It works for me.
I tried the Mark of Rodgort and a fiery weapon with ursan scan and that with War end and Power attack will do Massive damage, but I like to weaken them first cause that alone will do 25% more damage per hit
Also Drunken master lets me attack 30% faster and move 30% faster when I am drunk. so If it takes 6 second to kill a foe I can now do it in 4 second and gain +3 energy every time I strike them making power attack only cost 2 energy. Also sev art and 33% les max health is huge cause in 2 hits I can reduse someone's 600 health to just 400h in a matter if less than 1 second.
Remember wars are for killing things, monks are for healing us

No. The extram damage is not a sword swing.

^^^^ Ah man what do I loose? Cause you know that I can not win the argument.
Seriously there are some good builds on pvx.
I like to mess around with builds that are a little different. Like running a ranger bar on my war. or necro skills on my ranger - touchie it used to be called.
To the OP - no those do not add but there are some things that would add to Hundred blades, like mark of Rodgort and then just using a fiery sword of whatever.
I do that for my Jora for one of her skills.
If you were to do that with hundred blades you should get the bonus damage. I just do not like skills that take forever to activate or heavy adren builds. that's just me and as you can see by my posts, I can neither spell nor reason very well according to others.
Then again, what's wrong with dying every 3-5 seconds?

So in other words, an elemental sword in PvE is useless?
HawkofStorms
Not at all true. Elemental damage bypasses all warrior's bonus armor in PvE. Furthermore, several monsters are vunerable to certain types of damage. Plants for example take double damage from fiery weapons.
Furthermore, conjure is still good in other builds besides HB.

The Conjures are a nice addition to the physical damage. Just because they don't compliment one skill does not make them useless for warriors. Put it on your bar and try it out on the Isle of the Nameless. The Master of Damage will tell you the damage stats for your different builds.

Remember to switch back to physical if attacking a ranger, as all max ranger armor is 70 with +30vsElemental built in.
EDIT reply to Hawk's post below - Ah, ok, now I see why you said "in PvE." Sorry, I didn't mean to derail the thread - the wording struck me as easily misinterpreted, so I wanted to try to help stop a misconception that armor doesn't work the same in PvP ... in case anyone ever uses search and reads old threads or something. Cheers.
HawkofStorms
True Licensed. But the OP was specifically talking about PvE.
But PvE monsters have the same armor setups as players in PvP... just more of it (warriors have more physical armor, rangers have more elemental).
