how do i get my aion wings

I´ve just gone out n bought Aion but before i install or do anythin i want to know how i get the wings on my gw account?

Im fairly new to online gaming and any help would b appreciated

I have the steelbook version - but no paper in it with the extra code :S back to the shop i obviously go. also any other aion players here would like to pm me their ing for help that would be great

You had to buy an Aion box from the first printing, or prepurchase Aion through an online source and then the company would have emailed you a wings code. If you did buy a first printing you would have a bonus code for Aion wings. You would then log in and click the "edit account " button on the left. There will be 3 boxes, click the "manage access keys" box then "next" button on the right. Then the "add key" button on the right side of the box.

Of course none of this may matter since you did not preporder and by now the first print run is probably sold and all subsequent runs will not qualify for the wings promo.

if you do have the code, you enter it the same as you enter a new campaign key to your acc

...Is the Aion game you purchased Collector's Edition or regular? If you purchased the rugalar then you just burned yourself some good money as the Aion wings code is only available through the Collector's Edition.

If you bought the Steelbook standard version(metal box) or CE version of aion, there will be a separate piece of paper with the GW wings promo code. You add that code to your GW account through the character select screen options.

If you don't have the promo sheet, you either bought the Standard Aion (plastic case) or your retailer didn't put all the paperwork in your box

As stated, it is in the CE or the metal box version. And he didn't "waste" money either. He still does have the actual game too (welcome to Aion).

Read man, read. I said it comes in the CE and not in the regular version of Aion. As for the "wasted his money" line: I was refering to if he was purely trying to get the wings for GW. Comprehension ftw.


On-topic: I forgot to add the steel-box version. Yes, you can get the aion wings in that as well.

The FaQ says first run steelbook edition, so maybe you didn't get one that included the code.
