ppl are always complaining about nerfing sf and 600 n stuff...but i played in 4 balanced teams in hm in the uw and well it was impossible...im not claimin 2 be a pro but im not a noob...well it just seems 2 me that anet makes places so hard that there is only 1 real way to do it effiectly and u can blame people for doing it.....did i mention first mobway team i did we finished it....hmm

People were doing UW far before most gimmick builds rolled about, and they were doing just fine.

It's not impossible. It's just harder. Coordination is key, and if one person slips up, generally it can be a fatal mistake.

ok tell me bro would u rather roll thru the new uw in about hour- hour 1/2....with mobway that still takes skill 2 do...or roll thru the underworld in like 3-4 hours and 2 fail on dumb people

lol... It is impossible with a balanced build? Please... not even close. If anything, with a group of good players, it is easier with a balanced team.

This thread doesn't serve much of a purpose... other than you complaining that if SF and the like are nerfed, you won't be able to complete UW because you lack the skill, understanding, or both to finish it.

It's not impossible with a balanced team. It's a whole hell of a lot faster with a gimmick, but that doesn't mean the former is anywhere near impossible.

Try doing it with guildies and friends instead of PUGS. That might be your problem right there.

I recon gw has a good balance of difficulty.

Some areas are a walkover even when your solo
Others need a party be it real or ai well a party or a farming build.
Then there are the elite areas.

I don't do the underworld much but its by no means impossible to do just harder and more prone to failure.
They created consumables to make it easier and hard mode to make it all harder so what's the problem.

Every game like this should have parts that are too tough unless your good and or lucky.
I used to think the Southern Shiverpeaks were impossible some years back.
Then I reached the fire Islands which took me some time to master.
Not to mention the end areas of NF which still give me a few problems unless I am with a good party.

I don't like the term Noob but after 4 years I have to admit to being an underworld noob but I am sure if I was still willing to put in the time and effort into it I could master it.
