Are UW quest-npcs invunerable now too once quest completes?

Quick question for the UW pros. I found out recently that immediately after completing a UW quest the UW quest-reaper becomes invulnerable. Does this apply to the other quest npcs like Ice King, Pits Souls, and the Escort Souls? I looked at the update notes but couldn't find an answer...

If you do it right you should be clearing the central portion of Vale out along with the Mindblade groups so Escort should never be an issue. In Pits it's the same thing and once they make it to the reaper they won't run back down to aggro Chained Souls. In Wastes you should clear the cliff out because you will be going that way to get to the Hall anyways. So really there should never be anything on any of their paths for this to even be a problem.

Pretty sure the Reapers are killable in Dhuum's fight, but that's not what you are asking

Npc's (and reapers) are only invulnerable once they leave your ally list. For example if you complete mountains quest "Slayer" but left the reaper in aggro either with behemoths behind the statue or below then the quest can complete but reaper will stay on ally list and is not invulnerable. (so the time u saved by taking quest in aggro is probably used up by having to kill all the dryders that come, lol)

In your example, why wouldn't the reaper leave the ally list once quest completes? I don't understand why this would be the case since the quest officially did 'complete' - I guess there must be some code-flag which doesn't consider quest complete unless npc is also 'safe' at time of completion - or more specifically, the reaper doesn't leave your ally list unless he offers you a reward (and is thus not fighting like the Mountains Reaper in your example...)

just like previously in uw (where you could actually kill a reaper at 10 of 10 quests if it was aggroed and taking damage before 10/10) now it doesn't have to be taking damage it just has to remain on list and it can be killed. I will always take quest in mnts if reaper pop will be in aggro but safe from damage. (Ive logged a lot of time doing mnts and just don't like wasting time if not necessary )

from Day Trooper "or more specifically, the reaper doesn't leave your ally list unless he offers you a reward" Yep, you can go up after quest is complete (in your log) and kill whatever is aggroing to reaper and reaper will then leave your ally list and be invulnerable.

From the feedback I've read so far, if the Escort souls and the Pits souls become invulnerable after completing those quests, then why wouldn't the Ice King also become invulnerable once Servants of Grenth completes? Does he not leave the party window after that quest is done?

Ice King is absolutely invulnerable as soon as he leaves your ally list right after you complete wastes quest. (which requires all dryders to be killed now)

I am assuming that you are refering to the old uw before skeleton updates etc.

How do you know? Was he attacked by Smites or Coldfires after you've completed the quests and didn't he take any damage?

they (king & eles) ignore anything in their path once quest is complete as far as ive seen.

as far as original question, the only npc's that you really could leave in harms way would be the escort npcs if wrathful isnt finished or pits. wrathful usually is clear in that area before escort (unless you pop escort first which we haven't tried yet) and in pits the soul walk so slow we finish farming before they get anywhere near the reaper.
