your pictures have been getting better and better =). I like the mood in the last piece, and the pose too, but i just can't but notice that her left leg is not quite right. I think her lower leg is 1. too short and 2. oriented incorrectly. Her leg seems to be directly facing us but if she has her thigh rotated outwards her leg should be facing off to the viewer's right side, since the knee is a joint and not a ball & socket.
just thought I'd comment; picture is lovely otherwise, whoever is getting that is lucky =)

@ YunSooJin thanks, a lot of people told me that when they scroll down the first post pics are getting better, and they can see my improvement ^^
and yeah, ty for the comment, this was my first shaolin monk, and i think shading messed up a little, so it appears as her leg is broken >_< will have that in mind the next time im doing shaolins ^^

Its a lovely pic and the panda is gorgeous.
I didn't notice any of that stuff until YSJ posted, then I had a closer look, now I have to ask - why doesn't she have hips? I am no artist, but I am pretty sure women tend to have curves.

actually, she has them, but one of the special requests was that her skirt have the same pattern as kurzick armor, and kurzick armor (for female monks) are made out of, ummm some rough material (or at least it appears so), and since there isn't kurzick skirt, i had to make, from some half of her leg that rough material which isn't moving toward the other end (i'm just hoping you'll get, what i'm trying to explain )
And, yes, picture isn't perfect as much i would like it to be, but i've learned that apparently you can't run a half gb .psd file on a laptop and hoping to get nice performances :O

Also the eyes of both couldnt have been better. Really Magik great progression. Also the neck and the collar bones looks like they have gotten more attention then usual ^^

love the two different colors in the eyes for reia! and the fact you cant really see the puplis.. gives off a real "otherworld" look to her. the chains are a nice touch too. i cant wait to see mine!

@ frostkisses I started to work on your pic, we'll see how it will turn out although it will take some time...

Not really... I use smudge only when i need to get some nice messed up hair, or when i need to soften the edge of the hair. As for the dodge, really rarely on the hair (for strokes, and messed up haircuts ), and just a little on pearls, to get them shine, but only on one side, the other side of pearl i highlight with color. Same goes for burn tool

Looks great, love the details on the building! Also nice how you done the hair, I could imagine the darker parts could be very annoying D: And ooh she's wearing makeup :3 GlitterGlitter. I think your next goal should be the use of darker and sharper shadows, could make you painting look more realistic and dramatic.
