I was hoping someone could answer this for me...

My computer went down and I was able to retrieve some files from it..I did a fresh install with the new windows 7.

Guild Wars was not one of the files I was able to get..it may still be possible but currently it's not on my new OS install.

If I re-install GW and all campaigns will I be able to log in with my old account..I'm asking because it would be a huge re-install.I remember my login and password so would entering that be enough or will I have game registration issues and whatnot?

Simply install from the DvD or directly from www.guildwars.com and use your old login details. All your characters and account data is stored on the Arenanet servers and not on your local machine.

The only thing you will miss are the build templates. These are stored locally. If possible, salvage them from your old machine.

after installing from the latest GW disk (saves d/ling) you can also use the -image switch.
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Command_line

if you don't have a GW disk, D/L the GW Client, run it and the d/l process will begin.

all of your account information is stored server side. you can pretty much run the GW client from anywhere, (not recommended) log in and play.

just download the client or use a cd.
Then use the image trick to download all maps etc when you are a sleep or something. You just need email and pass, the rest is on the servers of A-net.
You only loose screens en templates.
