Is the credit card info stored in NCSoft accounts?

I just got an e-mail saying that my NCSoft account password was resent. I do not recall doing that. In the event that my NCSoft account was hacked, is the credit card information stored?

If I lose the account, oh well. I'm more worried about the credit card.

EDIT: Might be in wrong place, move/delete if necessary

Cancel the card. Safest thing to do.

Ofcurse I can't be sure, but I wouldn't guess so, as yu have to re-enter yout credit card info each time you buy from the in-game store =)

But else, cancel it. As the above poster said: it'se safest thing to do.

You could also mail Anet about it.

I actually got TWO emails for mine saying mine has been reset from my own IP address.!!?!?!!?!?!??!! I didn't change it, yet my old password still works.

EDIT: I'm not sure what happened with my account but everything seems to be fine here now. Glitch much.

I am not sure if they do. I think they don't. Everytime you buy something from the in-game store, they ask for your CC#.

If a hacker got your account, they can't charge you because you have to re-enter your CC#.

Someone seem to have managed to get my account as well, my password had been changed :P
But since I quit playing the game I really don't care anymore, just waiting for GW2 to be released.

It is stored, but hidden. Only the last 4 digits of the card number are shown, so there is no way to get the number. Still, you might want to alert the card issuer to the situation and have them monitor the card, or send you a new one with a different number as a precaution. The last thing you want is for someone to buy 80 games with your credit card...

I've had my financial ID stolen before, it's not a pleasant situation to be in. Some people will rummage through your rubbish/trash for old statements etc so always shred any old bank statements, wage slips etc
