Guild Wars trilogy sale

It's good for 24 hours. Half-price for the trilogy.
$25 instead of $50. Not too shabby.
Doesn't include GW:EN because that special offer is only for the NCsoft store.

If i would need a second account i would use that offer for sure.

not to give anet big heads or anything, but GW is top notch in ALL AREAS of the game compared to the GARBAGE that has been released within the last 1-2 years. I don't feel I need to mention any names, because we all know what's up.

$25 for the trilogy is not bad. We had it on sale that price this weekend at work (I work at Gamestop) so I decided to pick it up and get a second account, which I'd been thinking about doing for a while anyway. Even if I get EOTN at full price it'll still be cheaper than using the in-game promotion (which I had been considering).
Neo Nugget
I was wondering when Steam would put this on sale. 25 bucks for the trilogy is an amazing deal.

Or you could buy Battlefield 2 complete pack for 10 EUR.

BlackSephir
25$ for a nearly dead game with severe balance problems and without the expansion. Deal of my life.
Or L4D2!

How lame, I just bought the BF2 complete collection from Game for £10 a few days ago...

I want to buy one but I gotta save a grand by march break... so unfortunately i cant. But great find.

25$ for three games that once cost 50$ each ftw ;-)
25$ for hours upon hours of entertainment

Guild Wars is flawed, but it's nowhere near a bad game.
25$ for thousands and thousands of hours of entertainment.
In store, Nightfall was 60$ from Ebgames.
The choice is up to you.

but will it be bound to steam?
Steam has a s-load of problems, and I wouldn't want to be dependent on it.
If not, and you just get keys, will it come as one, or three? I'd consider buying it if I could add c2 and c3 to a c1-account I already have.

Single Player games (e.g. guild wars) don't really die.

Meh. It's a lot more, and I still don't think it's that much better than L4D1.

I'm pretty annoyed at myself for missing out on the sale they had on Dragon Age Origins, although buying stuff with USD still feels like a sale to me, NZD is good at the moment.
I'm hoping for TF2 to pop up tomorrow, I have a few friends who would like to play it but are a bit iffy about spending $20US on it.

But to answer your question, the only thing that you'd need Steam to do is to activate the keys and then you never have to run it again. The only thing that Steam gives you for MMOs is that your Login ID (presuming that it is public) to say "Currently In-Game: Guild Wars" instead of "Currently in Non-Steam Game: Guild Wars". Oh, and it logs your Guild Wars time played toward your meaningless Steam Score and will also count the number of hours played for you.
In short: There's no real reason to use Steam with Guild Wars unless you really want to do it.

When you enter a code it simply checks what features that code gives that are currently missing from your account. It comes as one key with 3 campaigns, you will get the 2 additional campaigns. The second copy of the campaign will provide no additional benefits unless it is a collectors version (In this case, no). None of your characters will be removed or anything like that.
Short answer: It adds the 2 additonal chapters that you dont have.

For anyone in the UK (or outside if they do shipping)
The GW Complete Collection is currently £14.99 at Play.com. Which is the same price it is on Steam for us except you'll get the physical copy and EotN as well.
Not quite as instand as buying online though.

Too bad play.com doesn't ship to Canada, I would order 1 simply for the unique case and yet another account for less than $20.

i would pay $100 to enjoy the old guildwar, where there used to be pickup group doing all pve missions.

100$ = ~700 ectos = ~13 ectos per mission, surely enough to buy a runner
Just kidding. But a combination of a good guild (with people going after missions titles) and some heroes is surely better than random pugging.

This is actually a reason to not buy it through steam. Instead of saying "Currently In-Game: Guild Wars" I get to rename it "Currently n Non-Steam Game: Starcraft 2 Beta"

I am pretty tempted to grab another account especially from play.com or hmv as they are complete collections for £14:99, Well worth the money...

I bought the boxed version of GW complete for just £24.99 ages ago, but now that henchmen skillbars have been buffed, I dont use it anymore.
Barrage
If only I could get a sale on character slots within these next few days.
Benderama
$25 for a game thats still being played. it may be flawed but so is every game, if it is nearly dead then there wouldn't be all these people hanging around the towns.
too bad the EN deal only goes for the NC store

It is a shame about the store only deals but for £14:99 you can get eye of the north included in the complete collection from play.com and probably a couple of other places if you look around...
Neo Nugget
I just noticed that the entire trilogy is 15 bucks this week at Best Buy. That is an insane deal for just 5 bucks a campaign.

Just ordered one for my girlfriend - thanks for the heads up Neo. I really doubt she'll play it that much, but I might as well try, right?

my weekly best buy ad has trilogy for $15. does anyone know if its a trilogy key, or do they give u 3 individual keys; proph, faction, and nf seperately?
