I'm a newb at farming, in fact I don't really intend to do it, I'm just intersted in running "specialized" builds to become a better player.
I'm trying the E/Me raptor farming at http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:E/Me_Raptor_Farm but I'm using Mental Block instead of Magnetic Aura
I can clean groups in HM as long as I don;t aggro the boss, but hte boss kills me every time. What am I doing wrong?

I use a different build to that and can kill the boss with no problems.

Have 12 in Inspiration so u get more health when you use it. you dont need alot in ES since you have the asura title track giving you energy. Also target the boss when you use ether feast so u can see just before she uses twisting jaws and use ether feast right after she uses it.
Rose Rune
Before the boss gets to you make sure you put up Sliver because more than likely the boss will take the damage. Also health mods > Energy mods.

Boss is probably killing you with Twisting Jaws. Which happens if you took too much damage before it hits. 120 life stealing and a deep wound which goes through pretty much all defenses... if you get hit by this with less than about 220 health you will die instantly.
Frankly, I think that wiki build sucks - too slow. Try one of the Mist Form builds. There are several variations, and Hunni's build above works... but I favour the build in this thread for both maximum speed and maximum number of kills. (The video is out of date, I use a major water rune now, which simplifies the skill usage, and reduces Intensity downtime). It's still not as efficient as a W/N, but it's not far behind and I think it's lot easier to use.

Hi there! I run a build like the wiki one for E/Me, but here is my version:
1. Magnetic Aura
2. Stoneflesh Aura
3. Armor of Earth
4. Mindbender
5. Sliver Armor
6. Ether Feast
7. Channeling
8. Mantra of Resolve
I start my run by getting the bonus by the shrine, then run normal speed to the cave entrance. At that point I cast 1, 2, 4, 7, 8. I love Mindbender as it gives you the speed to round up the nestlings as you head to the left corner of the cave, around the big tree as you head that way snagging the stragglers, then head down toward Rekhoff.
While heading towards Rekhoff, try to click on her (you may need to do a quick refresh of Stoneflesh) and your character should continue moving toward her. As soon as the words come up to "Defeat Rekhoff Broodmother" hit any skills in 1-3, 7 and 8 that need refreshing. Activate Sliver Armor just before Rekhoff gets there.
The trick to surviving the Broodmother's initial damage spike is to wait to use Ether Feast until that spike hits you. It gives you that nice boost of health that will allow you to survive the second one.
Another tip is to use an earth magic staff with the 20% ench (I use Galigords). If you click on Rekhoff (and again if need be to get her to come to you) she shoudn't be able to break aggro.
If you were successful rounding up almost all the nestlings on your way to Rekhoff, the Sliver Armor will work amazingly fast and kill her first most of the time. Just continue to refresh your skills, 123, 78 and 5 for Sliver as you kill the rest. Mindbender is also good here as random skills will recharge faster as well.
Good luck!!

first of all you dont need ether feast.
what would help is to use mentl block or magnetic aura before the boss.
then sliver armor.
there will be 2 slots open wich you can use for ebon standard of honor and by urals hammer. wich will give you a total of 41 damage.
