Just my performance of Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag if you would like to see it:

Theres a few mistakes, but this was the best recording I managed out of 5 takes.

Update - I just recorded my Joplin Piece, Magnetic Rag here:

My phone camera is a big fail though

Omg Maple Leaf Rag <3

I played that in a sax quartet (I was alto).

Thanks for the recording and reminiscing of good memories!

Ah memories. We played that in orchestra (viola player). Good job!

Edit: Hehehe. My 3 year old was dancing while listening to it.

Thanks. Ive also finished learning Magnetic Rag, but I still need to practice it more.

It took me a whole year to learn the two pieces, then I'll carry one working through some more pieces

Self taught? Wow! You have a natural talent - keep playing. I am a classically trained acoustic guitarist ... you have inspired me to play this piece.

Yea, I were really good as a kid and got the best in class award for my music GCSE, but I werent good enough to do performance at university as I hadnt reached Grade 8 by then (you need lessons to reach Grade 8 by 18).

I quit for a few years, then just started again last year. I just had normal music lessons at school and learnt anything else myself.
