I've searched the forums for some answers to my question, but have found nothing.
I'd like to know : if I flag H/H out of the compass, and some of them die while still in my compass, does this affect my drop rate? In other words, does a dead H/H counts as an "out of the compass" player in terms of drop rate?
Thx, and sorry if it has already been asked...

i nor anyone can 100% answer that but at a guess we treat them like real player so if a party member is dead within compass range the still get drops...outside they dont.
and having a party of 8 with 7 out of aggro range dosnt increase drop-rate, like these 'HM farmer lf leechers' in rata sumare basically only after people to run into town as if they think it increases drop-rate are deluded XD

Well I take H/H to go to the location i want to farm, and when they're out of range from your compass I'm pretty sure it's just as if you were solo.

Heroes outside of compass range (name faded in the Party Screen) still get a split of any gold picked up, but don't seem to affect drops otherwise.
Dead heroes inside compass range do seem to affect drops.

Yes, it's as Nerel says.
Hero inside compass range takes a cut of the drops as any player would, be it alive or dead.
Hero outside compass range only takes a fair cut of the gold picked up as any player would, be it alive or dead.
Being alive or dead doesn't make a difference, only the compass range.
