Compass crap

Kinda irratating and I think most people have seen it. Every time someting is being drawned on the compass it will take 2 sec and it is being followed by a dick painting or any racial drawning. This is getting more and more and in my opinion against the RoC. Also noone is brave enough to say yes I made that drawning. There for I ask Anet. Give every party member recon with there painting on the compass. Do it with colors or anything in you wide imagination so drawnings can be connected to the player that made it. So next step is warn and when done again maybe a ban as it is the same saying racial or sexual comments in your chat window.

Recon drawning may not only reduce these drawning of fear for bans, but will make playing a bit more fun.

I second that entirely. Seems like lately I only get in noob teams which just draw dicks on the compass, and then it's followed by a textwall on teamchat "xD xD xD". This has to stop...

Never EVER seen that happen. Only smilies. But the feature might be useful in case you want to be able to separate your party leader's drawing from the rest. It would have to be optional though.

I agree, there should be a way of telling who drew what on the map. Partly because it's nice to know who's giving the team the info, and to help with the inane penis doodles.

Secondly this addition would be useless, so what if you know that idiot two is the one drawing penisses,its not like you can kick him while your out of town anyways.
And if your in a town you could always leave the group.

The only way this addition will be usefull is if there is someway to punish the idiot.Filling a report in a case like this a waste of time for most people, since 1 it takes too long to see any effect,by the time the idiot gets banned you will have long forgetten about him.

So theres a few solutions, either give us the option to be able to kick the idiot when we see which color belongs to who,or give us a option to turn compass draing off.There probably might be some more but those are the most common I can think of.

Actually, it's not a bad idea. That way, during an elite mission, UW, or whatever, if you have to split up you know who is doing what and when.

I say just assign colors to the people in the party list and have some way to identify that color to the player. Maybe change their HP bars to the color they represent, or outline their name? Or, simply just change the text color to their particular color.


Perhaps whenever someone is actively drawing on the map, they get a "condition" icon next to their name. A pencil maybe?

Complicated solution:
Add a "radar color" window you can popup, allowing you to turn off/on radar drawing for each party member, and also customize the color and appearance for each one.

Simpler solution:
Add a new button in compass to turn off/on ALL radar drawings. If someone is being a d*, you can't kick them out but at least you can stop seeing their doodles. You could turn it back on later when they got bored or for critical mission doodles.

Just like 'i target' box pops next to name when calling target, 'i ping' and 'i draw' boxes should pop too, with color assigned to player which matches color of drawing.

Easy, simple.

Nope, but nothing has changed so maybe a reminder for Anet staff can be good once in a while. There was a change cus Mad king thorn was blocked for sight making large transform tonics to change But a penis and other compass drawing that got tons of solutions still remain untouched? I found those drawnings more offended then the fact I need to travel to a other dis cus I want to see the mad king

have you ever ran a dungeon & every time you look at map you see peni(plural?) and are like omfg this is annoying & distracting im tryin to watch agros & shihh ... so yes you are hurtin people because some people get fed up & leave so u lose out on money

People have been drawing penises on compasses for years. There have also been threads on this for years.

ANet now has the report function for inappropriate behavior. Taking screenshots and talking to Support is what ANet has come up with to discourage these actions.
