I was just curious to who has had something deleted randomly. You didn't delete it, but the game did.
I know this happends, but I'm not sure how offten.
I was playing earlier and got one of my wintersday mask from the festival guy and took of my bandana to put it on. I logged of about an hour later, came back on and my bandana was no were to be found. I know it's not much to replace, but if a peice of my fow was missing, I would be a little more pissed.
Something they should probably fix, if possible.
Have you had anything deleted?

The only thing that I remember the game deleting was my social life.

I thought I'd lost a bandana. A bit of mousing though, and I just realized it blended perfectly with the inventory slots. I felt silly

The first ever pumpking hat from halloween saved it to the festive hat master cant re-create it no idea why had it saved on 4 different toons.

Not an item, but my heroes periodically lose their assigned attribute points. (They still have the same number of total points, but some of the points show as unused.)
It seems to happen to Zenmai more often than anyone else.
I suppose it's some weird glitch. I check them before I take them out, to make sure they haven't dropped points.

I remember my guildie losing half of his tomes randomly aswell awhile back.

"hmm, empty slot in storage, lets put there these trophies"
week later on same char:
"wtf why i can't pick more drops? there is empty space right in middle of inventory. (mouses over) Hey, where did this urgoz shortbow come from!?!? Remebers to put it in storage"

If you are "losing" weapon items, check ALL your heroes. I remember "losing" my tormented set only to find out Jora had it the whole time.

when u talk about Bandanas... if you dye them black, its very easy to mess them around in storage
i "lost" my bandana ones, and looked truh full storage, and invent, nowhere to be found
logged on to my sin to lvl him up later, and saw that he had an empty slot in invent, but still said "invent full", so i hovered my mouse over and "Survivor Bandana of minor hammer mastery" showed
do that , and u'll hopefully find it

I always kept in the same inventory slot. One day decided to move it to storage (replaced it with Celestial). I remember exactly the storage tab and slot where I dropped it. The next day it wasn't there

My friend lost his tormented scythe out of no where, it was customised so there would be no point in a hacker stealing it. At the end of Proph i crafted a Deld communing staff for my new rit, i put it in storage then went on my rit and it was gone, i have 4 Xunlai slots and the perticular one i put it in was my weapons slot right next to my crappy Elemntal sword, i remeber the exact slot!

I swore at one time there was an ecto eating mouse in my storage. he'd only nibble though. like maybe an ecto every year. and only 1, NEVER from a full stack either.

I accidentally deleted my oldest character, a warrior, after 2-3 years of service. I think he had an inventory FULL of noteworthy greens, since I used him as a mule after getting him through all 3 campaigns (didnt have EotN yet). I think he also had several 400kish unique swords or axes on him.
Don't ask me why I deleted him, I think my brain stopped working after hours of mindless farming in a vegetative state of mind. After that incident, I decided to quit GW for a while. Didnt last long though.
Oh yeah, I also deleted my Mask of the Mo Zing on my monk, which I had painfully farmed back in the days it was still hard without all the PvE skills and no SF. Well at least it took me quite a while.
Dont know why I did it, but I bought it back. In the end I bought 4 masks for my characters I guess.

i think that happened with one item once i cant remember what it was but i was certain i had it and didnt sell it. i just logged on after i was on yesterday and within 16 hours of being logged off my survivor had died once ^^
unless hackers would go to all that trouble just to ruin someones title and keep everything else perfectly the same i guess it might just be me closing the game or getting DCed ^^

I remember getting like 10k balthazar faction deleted due to a GW Rollback way back in the 1st yr of GW. Some technical issue occurred and took place for like an hour and screwed up a lot of accounts. Within that hour i earned like 10k balthazar faction, but had it all deleted cuz Anet rolledback every account to a time before the technical issue occurred.

I bet you sold it. I did the same thing once, you probably had it in your vault and mistaked it for an empty spot. So when you went to store something there it got switched back into your inventory, then you might have sold it not knowing it was there along with other junk.
At leaste thats how I lost my bandana. Only way I figured out was when It almost happened again as I was selling some stuff and noticed my bandana in my inventory come up in the merch window, how did it get there? I dont remember putting it there. Well we know how it got there now.
