So just a thought or two on what people would like to see in this years Wintersday event, as the title of the thread suggests ladies and gents. Maybe the same kind of tournys they did last year? Or how about increasing the drop rate of that little PB mini? How about some brand new Wintersday quests with an intresting little reward at the end?

Personally I would like to see some new content this year, anything to make it slightly different from the rest of the years that have gone by, maybe in terms of quests would do it for a lot of people, not just constantly farming that PB minipet to no avail eh?

Some intrestingly designed masks this time for Wintersday 2009?

First and foremost: A conclusion of sorts to the quests involving Gwen and Lt. Thackeray.

Secondly, I'd appreciate better masks to make up for the atrocious crap we got on Halloween. And lastly, a skill balance update!

Defenitely more Xmas Quests and make them ALL repeatable.

Bring Wintersday to Cantha as well

If i say a skill balance it would imply im okay with waiting untill the end of the month for a skill update,which im not okay with,rather i would like a second skill update where skill that werent updated in the first months update also get updated.

So after they nerf SF and MoI they can buff Mending,Baltazhar's Pendulum, and Smiters Boon.

I would like a few nice masks...give them armor and make them runeable

I'd also like some new sweets for Wintersday; Christmas Cookies, Chocolate Milk(or Hot Chocolate), and maybe Snowcones. Perhaps giving 2-3 points instead of one.
^or instead of that, give all the 1 point sweets double drop rate.

Maybe a special mini that is easy to obtain and anyone who plays during Wintersday can get. Just a small bonus for players who still play so they can add to their HoM or something. Mini Reindeer or something?

A quest or 2 that would tie in with GW2. (Or just new quests period)

That's all I can think of right now.

I will 2nd the new drops, the better mask and the obtainable mini!
(dont really care about anything gw2 related as there is at least another year before it comes out---) though a new quest or two would also be nice (and NOT something in the uw or fow---something that my low level characters can do too).

I agree new drops would be awesome, also I would like to have those snowball fights back. I start playing last year and the first thing I did were those snowball fights altough sometimes frustrating they were awesome

I don't give much about mini's but like the others said before a new tonic would be nice ^^ let us say a santa claus one or a rainbow raindeer

The candy cane weapons were cool, but they weren't maxed so I destroyed them (wich was pretty stupid to do actually)

And a awesome hat ^^

Some nice hats to cheer me up, some fun quests with worthwhile rewards (a fair amount of part/sweet/alcohol) and not a stupid mini that everyone will waste their Christmas trying to get. But the best present ANet could give us would be a Shadow Form nerf and some serious rebalancing.

Well, it might going to be the same as last year. I really wanted to see Wintersday in Cantha (as an allusion to how Christmas is now widely celebrated in Japan), but Regina said she had no plans on introducing Wintersday in Cantha.

And there are repeatable Wintersday quest, the ones given by Rift Warden. I would like ArenaNet to include references of Kwanzaa and Hanukkah to show their secularism.

Remove the depressing, bitter, cold wind blowing in the towns. Instead replace that awful noise with birds chirping every now and then. Have the developers ever been in around on a nice sunny winters day with birds chirping in real life? Otherwise I will have to turn off my effects volume once again for 2 weeks so as not to have to start taking Prozac in real life.

AKA, no more Ecto farming. Bring back the good ol' days when grouping was a must.
