Any new items?

I haven't really played Guild Wars in ages (2 years or so), so I'm wondering if any new weaponry has come out during the period I haven't played? I've always loved to collect some fancy looking swords and axes, but might also be interested in staves.
Also have there been any major changes to the price of items that used to be very rare and expensive?

Not exactly sure about the timing, as I lose track of time quite fast, but here:

Dhuum's Scythe is a fancy skin unique added in the latest UW update, quite expensive weapon although price is expected to drop as it becomes more common (however a price 'spike' is to be expected when Shadow Form gets nerfed);

Bone Dragon Staff has seen a rise in popularity, it wasn't that hot when EoTN came out, now it is the most expensive staff... SoO runs to find it. Froggy Scepters also popular, although not new.

Tormented Weapons still popular, not new but still expensive.

There's also be the Bonus Mission Pack skins, which are kinda cool, but not exactly new, and not expensive/tradeable.

Hmm, I've read some about this new boss. Might want to try out Underworld again, only problem is finding a group to go with, as doing it with Heroes and Henchmen is too much of a pain.
And what's the deal with SF? I can't remember it being popular when I was active a long time ago... never used it myself.

About the Bone Dragon Staff... how come? Any reason it has a rise in popularity?

Hmmm, Tormented Weapons are nice... I like the shield, but never cared too much for it to spend days of farming the Underworld for Ecto.>__>

Yeah, I got the Bonus Mission Pack weapons, they're awesome.=p

"Perma" Shadow Form has been the farming/running/invincibility skill build of choice for a while now, and people have come out with a 'speed clear' concept that severely hurt the teamplay aspect in elite areas. Due to this, Anet has mentioned that a nerf to SF is to be expected soon.

The Bone Dragon Staff (aka BDS) probably became popular due to its rarity and difficulty to access. It has a pretty unique skin with a red heart as well as looking big, so it does stand out a bit. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, though, lol - I've seen better looking staves out there. :P But yeah it's a fine weapon.

Eragon mentions Nicholas...

There's also the Vampiric Dragon Sword (like a Fiery/Icy sword, but red), Nicholas's Walking Stick and Nicholas' Bo Staff. All weapons that come from his gifts.

Welcome back and good hunt!

Aaha, I see. I remember farming the Underword with my Elementalist. Made some good money, but got bored soon of it.=p

Aaha, I looked it up on the Wiki, and I don't think it looks all that great. It does look really unique, though.

Vampiric Dragon Sword, interesting. I've seen the Ascalon Razor is available from this Nicholas person too. I've always loved that sword skin, is the item tradable?

Thank you very much.8)

I have found this awesome shield on the Wiki, the Draconic Aegis. Searched these forums for it, but there are no sellers.

Just how rare is this shield? How much does it cost? What would be the best way of obtaining one?

One of my fave skins for shields, I think a good way of finding them would be to join VSF team runs in Umbral Grotto. Do it while Shadow Form isn't nerfed because then prices will raise, lol.

Yes Ascalon Razor is tradable, yw!
