Hey there. I recall utilising the map-overlay technique (selecting the 'difference' option I think) to effectively blacken the map aside from sections that didn't match. They would stand out fairly clearly, meaning I didn't need to re-scrape every area again.
Embarrassingly, even though I used this technique with a previous character (with Paint.net) I have completely forgotten the process involved. I've attempted cutting and pasting like a moron, but get nothing. Would anyone be kind enough to break this down to a sufficiently interpretable level for someone who is clearly commencing his downward sprial into senility?
Much appreciated
Thanks MisterB, I had neglected to look through Tyrian Cartog sticky (where much of the hints would likely be now that you've pointed it out).
For some warped reason, I wanted to map without the assistance of TexMod etc (my Guildies think I'm odd also). Will go through your final link, or perhaps utilise this 'search' function of which you speak...
Yep - used Sab's very clear instructions to toggle my cleared map and the one for my ranger.
Snograt - I was also there for the LA/Amnoon glitch -- very strange getting an 'end of the world' image just outside of Amnoon.
