So we know the NPCs that hand out Hero's Handbooks and Master Dungeon Guides don't hand out NM books after you reach rank 8. That's fine. But how about if they continued accepting NM books after rank 8?
And easy fix and it'd help out those of us that have NM books but didn't get to turn them in before reaching rank 8 because we were stupid.

That would make capping Race titles WAY too easy. Titles, even though people grind/farm/run them to death, are supposed to be a "title". Title ideally meaning, and I stress ideally, a reputation that you've earned through hard work.
If you know what to do, you can easily blast through the EOTN book in less than a day. Granted it's so quick, it defeats the whole purpose of achieving a title if you were still allowed to turn in books after r8.
With the rank cap, you're forced to do tasks that require at least some amount of effort to fully max out your title.

Personally, I'd want half of the points/gold/XP, so it IS more worthwhile to turn in hard mode books, by a long shot. However, this still gives us some reward in case we farmed our titles and forgot to do NM dungeons first.

If you pay attention to what you're actually doing, you won't have this problem. HM books, as mentioned above, are generally more profitable anyway.
