Where to key run for title?
Sethellington
I'm rank 1 treasure hunter, and want rank 3 for HoM. R1 lucky/unlucky. Part of a town-owning kurz alliance so I can buy discount lockpick. So the question? Where to go chest-running short term to advance my title fairly quickly? BTW: yes I've check the wiki page...

fast and easy place is outside of boreal station. there are almost always 1-2 chests before you get to the next res shrine.

I'd say boreal station or witmann's fooly.
An average 3-chest run in witmann's takes 3-4min (less with some experience), and almost the same for boreal
just dont forget to bring IAU or another skill to prevent Kds, as some foes have signet of jugment in both runs

I wrapped up my title by doing Boreal Station (about 1400 chests in 2 weeks)...
went as para/rit with vocal and all run skills + iau for pops
you will average 1-2 chests (in HM) about every 1-1 1/2 minutes.

like its been stated ive been recently working on this title too and with some running skills i usually get to the chest outside boreals station in around 35~45 seconds for 1 chest.. its a very quick run but to max the title from 0 chests takes roughly 97hrs at 35 seconds a run

Boreal Station.
Run this:
Perma Dash is ftw. Always running at 50% can knock a huge chunk out of your time when chest running. It's what I ran and it works marvelous. All you need is a staff/martial weapon that's +20% enchant and you're set.
edit: I recommend no less than r5 Delver if you wish to pull off this build effectively. Anything less and you will not be able to maintain a constant uptime for Dash since Dwarven Stability will not have a high/long enough effect.

Just open each and every visible chest that pops up during normal gameplay, as long as its associated key costs 600g and more. You have your title after some weeks without any effort. That's not short-term, but it requires absolutely no grind and is fun.
It becomes a habit. I maxed treasure hunter but still buy lockpicks and open every chest I encounter. Of the 10000 required chests, I opened ~6000 during normal gameplay over 1.5 years and only the rest with chest runs.

This title needs to be maxed to put in the hom. I maxed mine ages ago running fronis irontoes lair. Now I'm running it hm to max my wisdom title, and only need about 2000 more golds. I maxed lucky and will max unlucky in a couple weeks. Just run in, get chest, zone, start dungeon, get chest etc. There's 1 chest per instance you just have to run until you find it. Takes around 1 minute. HM gives a lot of elite tomes too, and I actually make money doing it.

Don't forget only chests with key price of 600g+ give points to the treasure hunter title.

You can't put treasure hunter in the hall until it's maxed. No point in stopping at rank 3. You need to go all the way, or don't bother with it.
