Like Regina said, the TK has only just now started to work on things. That doesn't mean that the update is ready to go. It will be out when it's out.

Stop asking when the update is going to come out. When it does come out, someone is going to make a post about it in Riverside, and then you can discuss whatever the hell you'd like about it, including how late it may seem to be coming out.

Nah seriously I know that the Live Team is very bogged down and are working those late night hours, but it's almost unsettling how inconsistent they are.

I have to agree. I really don't like waiting an extra month just for something that should have happened already.
Excuses or no excuses, Arena.Net seems to be asleep at the wheel.... (and have been for quite some time).
Next thing we know GW 2 is really just vaporware to keep us playing GW 1. xD

I have a good feeling that the skill balance update will come in the Winterday 2009 update. However since it is 7:30 PST... it is possible they will release one.
I remember they released one skill update at 10PM CT.

My assumption would be that they are splitting the difference and packaging it with the Wintersday update.

Many of us longer players will know that when it comes to xmas anet never does updates on time.Been same for last 2 yrs and the only update is for the xmas fest.
Im guessing the update will be in january just after everyones had fun and anet will drop the nerf bombshell ( as usual ).
TBH i used to prefer the regular updates , yes they were a pain but there wasnt any waiting around and glitches/bugs were found faster.Now if theres a glitch/bug it seems to take longer for them to fix.Bigger the update - more info we have to read to see whats been done and then most ppl with go and change builds etc but before we had less to read an we got on with the game faster.
As for the update and no notes - probably the start of the xmas code going in .. same as usual as it shud start i think next week ( thank god anet dont do festivals live updates as we`d be all waiting for xmas fest to start in jan an canthan new yr would be march or april lol ).
