Yesterday, after finally getting rid of a virus from my computer, I started up Guild Wars. It loaded like always, i typed in my password, chose a character, but after it finished loading the area, an error popped up:

When I closed the error, the game closed along with it.
I tried this on all characters but it crashed with the same error on all. Anyone know what the problem is here?

you have a bad memory chip. i'm not very good at reading error logs, but that's the first thing that comes to mind.

The "virus" was probably the problem you are having here, bad RAM.

So you're saying it's crashing because I have bad RAM?

Also, I just noticed that if I leave the crash window open, Guild Wars is still in the background looking like its running fine. I see people talking and stuff..just can't click anywhere in the window because the crash message won't let me.

I am getting the exact message only after yesterday's update. I don't have bad ram because my games run fine.

Yeah all of my games run fine also, except this. I've had no problems with Guild Wars until yesterday (except for when i had to use 3D analyze to get to 1 or 2 areas)

You think it might have something to do with the update?
