Idea for Missions?

Well, I was thinking of an idea for Guru or Guildwars,

A chat, On a webpage, Where you can say your doing a mission, For example

I go into chat,

Im about to go and do Arborstone, Does anyone need this mission or wants to come along or needs help?

That way, Instead of H/H everything and becoming bored, You can have other players and give help/recieve it.

I think they have that in game. . . I believe, don't quote me on this, that you just press "Enter" and start typing in "LFG MISSION!" and then press "Enter" again. OR You could press "2" or "5" to start typing to your Guild or your Alliance, respectively.

Ok smart***, it's clear that he's suggesting something to substitute for a global party search window, since it's pretty clear we're not getting that at this point. A website devoted to that would be a nice idea, if someone could set it up, but I don't know if anyone's that dedicated.

Theres a section on guru for forming PuGs.

If he is suggesting what i think he is it would be somthing along the lines of you "opt-in" to this chat and you see messages posted in the area like "LFG Arborstone" and you would see the massage even if your in LA then if you need the mission you know a group is been made and you can go join in

it shounds good but the Spam factor is putting me off with noobs abusing it to sell thing and spam guild recrutments so best way would be a chat room IRC would be the best then you just log in and see whats been made

Anyway, Thats what i mean as such yes, You seem to have the idea, Such as like an IRC chat i think it is, Maybe an addition to guru so its a live feed and not on the forums? Asin another link to a chat, And you can have different sections, Such as live Trade, Talk, Missions? Because, When im in Europe 1, I cant see people looking for missions or help in america right? And not everyone uses the party search function.

Just an idea which can help some people and give people the feel good factor of helping as such?

The thing is, The last date someone posted was 2 days ago, Its not live, So you dont know who is wanting to do something at that time if you get me.

The idea exists. It doesn't work because people don't use it. The reason people don't use it is because it is not an instant message and it may take time for someone to see it. It is much easier to just ask in game via All, Guild, or Alliance chats. Considering the number of people and the number of resources available, it would only work if Anet ran it..... and they do (Party Search).

I reckon there should be an outpost somewhere where players looking for PUGs, missions etc should go, just like Lions Arch and Kamadan are used for trade.

if you make nice nice with the admins you could suggest them installing a Shoutbox. or you could just d/l mIRC/<your favorite chat prog> OR if you have java installed you can always just go straight Here.
