I dont know if there is a guide somewhere in Guru, but i wanted to know if there was a way of getting a Dark Red/Bordeaux Color, without having to use black preferably.

Need to know profession+armor.

Nearly every armor dyes different.

Try Red, Brown, purple combinations.
But black is needed if you want it dark.

Usually a Red + Black is most effective. A great and fairly common example is Dervish primival armor that I see frequently with this combo.

Your particular profession and particular armor will affect the exact dyes needed so my advice is to simply experiment and to go ahead and just spend the 7-8k for a black dye.

Preview window for dying stuff is quite helpful. No need to waste dyes if you don't like the color.

There's also a Dye guide here - it has one and two color combinations, which should give you an idea on where to start, at least.

As has been said, dye appears differently on some dyeable objects (armor, weapons, etc.) than others. Without knowing the particular type of armor you want to dye, it's difficult to say that any particular combo would result in a Burgundy color. You'll need to obtain an assortment of dyes and try different combos in the preview window.
