People are telling me there is 9 rings in wintersday event. Although I'm not convinced and nor do I see where it says 9 rings will open for this event. Since when? Last I checked it was Dragon Festival, Canthan new Year and Birthday of guild wars. Maybe its new I don't know but someone please clarify.

Perhaps they are referring to the finale event, where Grenth and Dwayna fight it out. That involves a minigame using 2 sets of nine rings

Yes I know that game and i figured it was what my guildies were talkign about but they said 9 rings which is not really similar to grenth V Dwayna not entirely anyway thank you

The regular nine-rings (as found on the boardwalk for AFkers young and old alike) isn't a part of the Wintersday festivities.

It is not 9-Rings per se, but the Grenth v Dwayna is close...different in it's own way, but close...you can go afk and still get stuff...like 9-Rings.

there is no 9 rings games because the festival goes on for 17 whole days. That would net you quite a lot of lucky points in that time. I believe that I could get a million lucky points in that time if my gold held out.
So ANet will not diminish that title and allow players to get it by simply going afk with enough tickets
