Which build do you prefer when it comes to Smite farming?

I tried doing this after the duuhm update, not working too well. Am I doing it wrong? I use this build quite frequently and I would say skeletons account for probably 1-2% of my deaths, maybe less; the other 98% comes from giant lag spikes. The only place they really become an issue is on the path towards Dhuum's chamber, but you can maneuver around a bit until they walk off. You can also kill them fairly easily as long as you haven't aggroed anything else. The best thing to do is watch their patrols; they patrol enormous routes, so it's easy to get smites in and kill them before they come back. If you're really stuck, you can PM me on the forum and I can try to show you how I deal with them(would rather not give my IGN out now).

Well I guess I only did the run twice since my coming back to GW for the holdays. Both times, he was right between the aataxe room and the hall to the smites, making me choose between death from not getting away from the cows, or death from taking on the smites and the skeleton.

Both times, he was right between the aataxe room and the hall to the smites, making me choose between death from not getting away from the cows, or death from taking on the smites and the skeleton. if you break aggro of the cows fast enough, you can chill in the area between them without re-aggroing anything.
