DC probs on trial account

I keeping getting disconnected with a message about an internet error. I have played a lot of MMORPGs, and I've never had any problems like this before. Is this happening just because I am on a trial account, or is it going to be a problem if I buy?

Also, I played for hours last night, but today I can't find guild wars on my computer, even after doing a search. How do I start it up again?

Additionally, I want to try PvP before I buy. Is there any way I can do that on a trial account? I don't want to do arena. I want to try a game with strategy elements. How do I get there quickly?

Finally, it seems like there is no way to jump in this game. Is that right?

It might be worth to check your internet connection, especially if it is some years old (my recently broke...). GW can have some lagg problems sometimes, but usually it isn't that bad, and it doesn't happen too often. You might get annoyed, but you're able to live through it

I havn't had a trial account, so I don't know how it works... Try to remember where you saved it.

If I remember it correctly, I think that you cannot PvP on a trial account, but as I havn't had any, I can't answer for sure. For quick PvP it's just to roll a PvP character and start playing, however you might need to do a bit PvE or stay to the Zaishen challange for a few days in order to unlock new skills, you need a well working bar to be competive in PvP. It'd be good if you had survivor insignias and some runes unlocked too before playing PvP.

But as I said, I do not think you're able to do that on a trial account. If that's correct my advice is that you go to a friend that has the game and plays a bit there. Or just decide that you like the PvE part enough to buy it, and try out PvP once you've played a bit on your new full account.

That's correct, but it isn't anything you'll miss once you've started playing it (just in the beginning if you're used to jump).
If you really really feel like jumping, you can always type /jump. However, that is just an emote.

It's not because you have a trial account. It's an internet routing issue (usually).

If you can't find it, it must have been deleted or uninstalled. Check the recycle bin.
You could just reinstall the trial or download the client from the website. Just enter your previous account name and password to get back to where you were - the account info is stored on the GW servers, so it is still there.
