Recently made hats in mini games?

Ok I was wondering about this ever since the update. I like the idea that you can wear the newly made hats and your armor head piece at the same time. As you know that’s great! Now here the problem, you see the text “(Except PvP)” meaning you can’t see the hats when you go into PvP. Also the newly made hats can’t be equipped in the Head slot.

So here my question, does that mean you can’t see the recently made hats in mini games, as they also count as a PvP environment?

For the head slot I know they should have added a slot in the equipment window for hats. That means you can now have the hat skin and your armor's stats. Concerning PvP, I'd need to be able to log, I'd think if the zone does not have the PvP "buff", you should have your hat.

idk, i would consider the competitive mini-games to be a form of pvp in which case, no, u will no longer be able to wear them like u could previously. previously it didnt matter that u missed out on armor from wearing hats because of the arena buffs. but now, that is gonna be a bummer if u cant wear em (for example, in this years snowball). it's understandable for the costumes though cause that completely hides a person's profession appearance. we'll see in a few hours though when snowball arena is up and running
