Req 8 is rarer?

ive noticed there arnt much weapons with req8 lately
have they become rarer?
are perfect gold weapons uninscripted with req8 are alot rarer these days?

absolutely. as time progresses, more and more req8's are lost to player collections. they go off the market at a much greater speed than new ones come into the market.

why what happend? it wasnt like this 2-3 years ago

Nightfall and EoTN came out, as did Hard Mode - it's very rare to see r8 weapons as opposed to back in Prophecies and even Factions.

so should i keep my req8 items, (because value might go up) or should i sell em now before some new update comes and change everything? any tips? :>

only 15^50 and +5e are well paid now
also,its not rly rarer.....ppl hyped price few months ago for like 2x or 3x of price before,everything was changed in a week (phoenix blade 15^50 from 30e went up to 100e in a matter of days, total bullcrap...) . imo,its just not rare as much ppl pay em

Don't expect any new updates concerning weapon drops. Anet has no reason to introduce/up the droprate of req 8 and lower.

Don't forget the majority of the community do not bother with req8 weapons because req9+ work just as effectively. And with the onset of end-game weapons, inscription slots, easy drops, BMP, EotN killing rare skins, perfect weapons are much cheaper and easier to come by.

Only collectors are interested in such weapons and as someone already mentioned, the price can be hugely hyped up because there are so few buyers for reference.

The only thing you should be worried about is whether these collectors lose interest.

What real difference would it make? It's only a game and it's only play money. Just keep in mind that when GW2 comes out, nothing in GW1 will be worth much any more.
