so certian skills or enchantments for warriors only work when in stance.....whats it mean to be in stance?

Stances are certain types of skill that when activated give you a special/passive ability for a short period of time.
Examples:
Frenzy. For 8 seconds you attack 33% faster but take double damage.
Balanced Stance. You cannot be knocked down, etc.
