Is it possible to skip anything in Nightfall,such as to skip main missions or quests?

Was just wondering if it's possible to skip any main missions or quests in nightfall in order to beat it faster? I don't want to sit on my comp for 6 or 7 hours like a zombie, just to get one piece of primeval..... Anyone know any tips, or tricks?

No you cannot. You must do all the main missions.

i was pretty sad about having 2 do it all at first too, but nf isnt all that tough =)

Most of the missions take less than 30mins for the full/masters reward, even less if you only aim for just basic completion. You'll probably spend more time doing missions+quests in Istan than any of the other regions tbh.

There is a Desolation run that can be done with 1-2 Assassins that allows you to get from the Sunspear Sanctuary to various spots in the Desolation and Vabbi. Apparently this allows you to begin the storyline early on in the Desolation, although I forget at which mission.

There's the ferry to consulate docks to skip the starter isle,then there are runs for a few missions. Other than that it's no braining,sorry.

Just know that getting runs to consulate or the gates won't help any. If you havn't done all the primary quests to get there you won't be let in the mission, simple as that.

You'll always skip 2 of the missions, but that's it.

The only purpose of getting a run to Kodash is to get Vabbian amour for those who either have no intention of getting their toon through nf, or those who wish to have it earlier than they would have otherwise been able to.

You can also get a run to the Bone Palace but the gates are locked, the only way to access it is through the quest "A deal's a deal", however, even if someone in your party has the quest active, it is not possible to 'run' a person who has not gone through the storyline, because the entire party would be denied access to riding the wurms, hence making the quest quite impossible to do.

Another tit bit of information is the run can be done solo, and that any class that can run will be able to do it, although derv and sin appear to be the easiest at this time.
