Lmao I love the thread title. But yeah I know now that it is actually something serious. The hackers that use keyloggers as their primary way into Random NC and GW accounts by random victims are f'd royally and forever.

I haven't logged on for a while yet, is this now implemented?

This is a key complaint against it.

I mean, accounts that have been around for 4 years and have dozens of titles will be fine...but brand new accounts? Hell, what about accounts that don't have a single character?

We sincerely apologize for interrupting the Snowball AT for this. The security update was a high priority update, and it was important to get this out as soon as we could.

It is. I logged in and it asked for my character's name before I could actually get into my account.

That would be correct. -password does not work now. I do hope there is a -character command coming (or already there)

A keylogger is going to give them all of the info no matter how much is asked for if it is typed in. Sadly, the -password command no longer works, which prevented a keylogger from getting the password.

My advice to those with storage accounts, add the account on your main account's friends list.

Also, if you don't remember what it is and can't get in right now, it says in the FAQ to contact support and they will help you.

What about screenshots ? I have over 500 screenshots,so a character name wouldn't be a problem.

Of course that only applies to primary accounts :P

my character names are too long... this game isn't worth playing if i have to type in a bunch of stuff to login.

No character on account yet: no name required.

I also just created a character on an account earlier today, I have no problem remembering the name at all.
How can someone forget a character name? O_o

I fail to see how keyloggers are affected, if you have to type in ur char name to login ... won't the keylogger you know log those keys as well?

I'd like to pay 10$ for this microtransaction please.

There is a "remember character name" box that you can tick. No need to re-enter it over and over.

True. But... Keyloggers implanted AFTER the update (assuming your box is ticked and your character name is saved) really shouldn't have an effect. No system is perfect. Ever. But this is a huge step in the right direction.

Copy-paste it in and tell it to remember the login and character name, if you're that worried about it.

I LOLed. The game will be a better place ^_^

There's also another issue I have with the security question that I can't post here but I mentioned to Regina because I'm concerned.
